Riot Games Introduces New Game Mode and Cosmetics in Teamfight Tactics’ Soul Fighter 2023 Summer Event
Riot Games has exciting news for players of the popular auto-battler game, Teamfight Tactics (TFT). In honor of the game’s fourth anniversary, Riot has announced the upcoming Soul Fighter 2023 Summer Event. Set to go live on July 20th, this event will bring a new game mode, narrative experience, and exciting cosmetics for players to enjoy.
Soul Brawl Game Mode
A highlight of the Soul Fighter event is the new game mode called Soul Brawl. This temporary mode takes place in two stages: training and tournament. In the training phase, players compete for Soul Power, which strengthens their Soul Crown and offers additional loot options. The tournament phase, on the other hand, features a best-of-three bracket where players battle until only one remains victorious.
In-Client Narrative Experience: Choncc Dome
Similar to the popular Star Guardian event in League of Legends, TFT will also receive an exclusive in-client narrative experience. Named Choncc Dome, this narrative experience revolves around the round and friendly dragon that TFT players have grown accustomed to. Players will witness champions and tacticians teaming up to prepare for the Tournament of Souls.
Event Pass and Mobile Platforms
For the first time ever, the Soul Fighter event will include an exclusive event pass for TFT players. Additionally, the narrative experience will be available on mobile platforms, expanding its accessibility to a wider audience. This event pass offers players the chance to obtain new cosmetics, including the mystical tactician Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen.
