Kai’Sa Receives Minor Buff, Sees Significant Increase in Win Rate
In the latest Patch 13.12, one of the champions in League of Legends received a small buff that had a big impact on her performance.
Kai’Sa, currently ranked as the 10th best AD carry in Platinum+ rankings, saw her win rate rise significantly to 50.91 percent, according to stats site U.GG. Previously, she had the lowest win rate among all champions in the same rank, with a dismal 47.81 percent.
Interestingly, the buff Kai’Sa received in Patch 13.12 was not major. The developers only increased her attack damage growth from two per level to 2.6. However, this small change seems to have made her viable as an ADC once again.
In addition to this buff, two core items for Kai’Sa were also altered in the latest update. Phantom Dancer received a slight buff while Bloodthirster was slightly nerfed. The developers also made adjustments to other ADC items like Galeforce and Rapid Firecannon. These changes likely contributed to Kai’Sa’s rise in the rankings of best marksmen in the game.
This news is a relief for Kai’Sa mains who have been struggling with her performance this year. Aside from minor changes in Patch 13.1 and bug fixes, Kai’Sa has not received any direct tweaks and has been struggling to maintain a win rate above 50 percent in the last five patches.
Upcoming Changes and Conclusion
It appears that Kai’Sa will not receive any further changes in Patch 13.13, at least as of now. However, one of her main items, Stattik Shiv, will undergo a significant nerf. The update is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, June 28.
