LCK Power Rankings: T1 Claims the Top Spot, Upsets Shake the Standings
The Lunar New Year break in the LCK has given teams a chance to regroup and prepare for the upcoming push towards the spring playoffs. While some teams, like T1 and DRX, were on a winning streak before the break, others, like Kwangdong Freecs, welcomed the opportunity to reset. The top half of the LCK standings has seen significant changes due to upsets and movement in the playoff picture.

Teams Struggling to Break Through
The bottom cluster of teams in the LCK, including Hanwha Life, Liiv Sandbox, and Kwangdong Freecs, have been trading places outside of the playoff bracket. Kwangdong Freecs’ poor performance with a 2-10 record led to their 10th-place ranking. However, Hanwha Life has shown promise with a win over Nongshim RedForce and a close match against Gen.G. They will face a tough challenge when they go up against the undefeated T1.
DRX and Fredit BRION on the Rise
DRX, after a slow start, has improved their record to 3-3, making them one of the hottest teams in the LCK. They will face KT Rolster and Hanwha Life after the break, providing them with favorable matchups. DRX’s players are performing exceptionally well, with Deft, Zeka, and Pyosik ranking among the top six in KDA in the LCK. Deft leads the league in stats, according to Oracle’s Elixir.
Evened Up at 3-3: KT Rolster, DWG KIA, Nongshim RedForce
KT Rolster’s victory over Gen.G gave them a strong case for a higher ranking, but a loss to Liiv Sandbox kept them out of the top three. DWG KIA and Nongshim RedForce have the advantage over KT Rolster due to their head-to-head records. The three teams will face lighter schedules in week four, giving them the opportunity to improve their 3-3 records.
T1 and Gen.G: The Battle for Supremacy
T1 has claimed the top spot in our rankings, overtaking Gen.G. T1’s statistical superiority in aspects such as gold difference, dragon control, and kills solidifies their position. However, the battle between T1 and Gen.G is far from over, and future matches between them could result in further changes in the standings.
