Cosplayer crafts astonishing hand-made Jinx from Arcane look

Cosplayer recreates Jinx from Arcane: League of Legends with stunning accuracy

The animated series Arcane, based on the popular game League of Legends, has garnered immense popularity since its debut on Netflix in November. It has captivated various aspects of popular culture, including the cosplay community, which now has the opportunity to bring to life the new and redesigned characters from the show.

Reddit user u/hoodbobthugpants chose to cosplay as Jinx, specifically recreating her look from Arcane. In a video they shared on Reddit, they meticulously documented the entire process of creating the steampunk-inspired outfit, from designing the pants to styling the vibrant blue wig. With painstaking attention to detail, they handcrafted every component of the costume, leaving no stone unturned in their quest to replicate the character.

According to the Reddit user, the entire process of creating both the outfit and Jinx’s rocket launcher, Fishbones, took around three months. To add an extra visual flair, both the pants and Fishbones were equipped with RGB lights. They are currently working on completing Jinx’s minigun, Pow-Pow, to truly embody the character’s essence. This awe-inspiring Jinx cosplay secured first place at a recent competition, recognizing the dedication and skill exhibited in bringing this iconic character to life.

“I always recommend watching every cosplay tutorial you can find on YouTube, even if it’s not related to a character or game that interests you,” u/hoodbobthugpants advised, encouraging others to pursue cosplay. “It’s not just about the end result, but also about learning techniques that you can apply to your own creations.”

All nine episodes of Arcane are now available for streaming on Netflix. Riot Games has confirmed that season two is currently in production, but no release date has been announced yet.
