League of Legends Patch 11.10: Changes to Items and Phase Rush Nerf
The gameplay design director of League of Legends, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, has revealed the upcoming changes for Patch 11.10. These changes include adjustments to certain items and a nerf to Phase Rush.
Changes to Riftmaker
Riftmaker, one of the game’s items, will see significant changes to its damage output. It will now stack when dealing and taking damage from enemy champions. The damage amplification per stack has been increased from two to three percent, while the maximum damage amplification has been reduced from 10 to nine percent.
Increased Ramp-Up Speed for Riftmaker
Previously, Riftmaker users needed five seconds in combat with champions to reach maximum damage amplification. However, with the increased stack count and reduced max amplification, it will now only take three seconds to ramp up to max damage.
Other Item Changes
Abyssal Mask will receive a 50 health increase, a damage amplification potency increase from 10 to 15 percent, and a damage amplification duration increase from four to five seconds. Guinsoo’s Rageblade will have its price reduced by 200 gold.
Goredrinker will also undergo some changes. It will receive a 50 health buff, while the AD based on missing health will be reduced from 15 to 10 percent. The healing power will shift from 25 percent AD plus eight percent of missing health to 15 percent AD plus 10 percent of missing health.
Nerf to Phase Rush
Phase Rush will see a nerf to its early effectiveness in Patch 11.10. The cooldown of the keystone will change from a flat 15 seconds to 30 to 10 seconds based on level. The movement speed boost for ranged champs will be reduced from 25 to 40 percent to 15 to 40 percent based on level. For melee champs, the movement speed boost will be reduced from 40 to 60 percent based on level to 30 to 60 percent.
Patch 11.10 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, May 12.
