Kuku remains with TNC Predator despite tweet about looking for team

Kuku Stays with TNC Predator Amid Speculation

One week has passed since Carlo “Kuku” Palad announced his intention to find a new team, but he remains on the TNC Predator roster. While other teams have been searching for and cutting players, Kuku’s status with TNC has not changed.

Kuku recently posted on Twitter indicating that he was looking for a new team, but it seems he will be staying with TNC after all. In another post during his vacation, he apologized for tricking fans.

Despite Kuku expressing interest in joining a new team after The International 2019, there was never any confirmation of his departure from TNC. It also seemed unlikely that a successful team like TNC would suddenly let him go.

Currently on vacation in Hong Kong with his wife and daughter, Kuku assured fans that this break was just temporary. Alongside a picture of himself at Disneyland Hong Kong, he stated, “Vacation first before the next tournament. Sorry for those I jebaited.”

While Kuku did not explicitly mention TNC or his current status, the team has not removed him from the roster or changed their Twitter header. This suggests that his original post may have been a joke or a result of frustration with the team’s performance at TI9.

TNC is one of the few Southeast Asian teams expected to maintain the same roster for the upcoming season. However, there are speculations that the team’s coach, Dota 2 legend Lee “Heen” Seung Gon, may leave to resume his playing career elsewhere.

It’s important to note that TNC has not confirmed any of these speculations, and the situation remains uncertain. We will have to wait for an official statement from TNC to know the final outcome.
