An original control mage gets League of Legends’ initial Victorious skin in 2023

League of Legends Reveals Next Victorious Skin for Ranked Season

League of Legends players, it’s time to start grinding the ranked ladder because the next Victorious skin has been confirmed. Riot Games announced today that the next Victorious skin will belong to Anivia. The exciting part is that unlike previous years, this skin will be awarded to all players on the solo queue or flex queue ladder. That means you won’t have to grind for Gold rank to receive it. However, the chromas you receive for the skin will vary based on your rank on the leaderboard.

Double the Chance to Earn a Victorious Skin

In the 2023 ranked season, two Victorious skins are being released due to the split nature of the season. This is great news for players looking to earn more chromas for Victorious Anivia. However, the deadline to do so is earlier than ever. You only have until July 17 to rank up and earn as many chromas as possible. After that date, the first ranked split of 2023 will end, and the second half of the season will begin.

Victorious Anivia is being awarded to players who compete in ranked before July 17.

If Anivia isn’t your favorite champion, don’t worry. You can always come back to League later in the year and try for the second split’s Victorious skin. The announcement for the second skin is expected to be made in October.

This is the first time since 2018 that a mid laner has received a Victorious skin. Previously, Orianna was the recipient five years ago. Last season, Sejuani was chosen as the champion for the 2022 Victorious skin.

Mark your calendars! The first split of the 2023 ranked League season ends on July 17 at 11:59pm CT.
