NA LCS Power Rankings – Feb. 16 (Spring Split 2017)
As the regular season enters its final five weeks, the North American League Championship Series standings are starting to take shape. Cloud9 had some close calls, Team SoloMid received a wake-up call, and Team EnVyUs is still in last place. Here are the updated power rankings for the NA LCS:
10. Team EnVyUs (9 total points): No change
Team EnVyUs failed to capitalize on Dignitas’ performance and was swept in both series this week. They’re showing no signs of improvement and are facing relegation.
Next up, EnVyUs has tough matchups against Echo Fox and Phoenix1, with Phoenix1 being their best chance at a win.
9. Team Dignitas (18 total points): -1
Dignitas finally got back on track by sweeping Team EnVyUs, but they were also swept by Immortals. They made changes to the support position but are still struggling.
This week, Dignitas faces Team Liquid and FlyQuest, with the Liquid matchup being their best chance at a win.
8. Team Liquid (22 total points): -1
Team Liquid had a good fight against Cloud9 but got crushed by Immortals. They need to find consistency. This week, they play against Dignitas and Counter Logic Gaming, two teams they could theoretically beat.
7. Immortals (36 total points): +2
Immortals had a strong week, sweeping both Team Dignitas and Team Liquid. They need to keep up their performance against tough matchups with Counter Logic Gaming and Echo Fox.
6. Counter Logic Gaming (38 total points): -1
CLG had mixed results last week, getting crushed by Echo Fox but bouncing back to upset Phoenix1. They need to find more consistency. This week, they face Immortals and Team Liquid, two winnable series for them.
5. Phoenix1 (48 total points): -1
Phoenix1 lost to FlyQuest and CLG last week and is currently on a losing streak. They have roster changes this week and will face Team EnVyUs and Cloud9. They have a higher chance of winning against EnVyUs than Cloud9.
4. Echo Fox (55 total points): +2
Echo Fox surprised everyone by sweeping both CLG and TSM last week. They need to maintain consistency and play well against EnVyUs and Immortals this week.
3. Team SoloMid (66 total points): -1
TSM had a rough week, getting swept by Echo Fox, but they are still a strong team. They need to bounce back against Cloud9 and FlyQuest this week.
2. FlyQuest (68 total points): +1
FlyQuest lost to Cloud9 but proved to be consistently strong. They have favorable matchups against Dignitas and TSM this week.
1. Cloud9 (80 total points – Eight first place votes): No change
Despite some close calls, Cloud9 is still the team to beat. They face Phoenix1 and TSM this week, and are expected to have a clean 2-0 week.
