Arrow, former OpTic Gaming ADC, rumored to make an NA comeback with Wildcard Gaming

Noh “Arrow” Dong-hyeon Joins Wildcard Gaming in NA

Noh “Arrow” Dong-hyeon, the former player for OpTic Gaming, is making a comeback as a player for amateur League of Legends team, Wildcard Gaming. In an interview with Inven Global, Arrow shared his excitement about returning to the North American scene.

Competing in the Amateur Scene

Wildcard Gaming will be competing in the amateur scene and aiming to prove their skills in the Proving Grounds tournament. Arrow’s last professional match was during the 2019 LCS Spring Split playoffs, where OpTic Gaming was eliminated in the first round by CLG.

During his break from professional play, Arrow focused on streaming and creating educational content on YouTube. He had been waiting to acquire his green card to secure permanent residency and avoid using an import slot in the LCS. However, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed his plans.

Obtaining the Green Card

Arrow finally received an interview invitation in March and went through the process in April. He now has his green card and is eligible to compete in North America without using an import slot.

Despite expecting numerous offers after becoming a resident, Arrow did not receive any from the main NA scene. As a result, he decided to join the emerging team of Wildcard Gaming.

2021 LCS Amateur Tournament

Fans of Arrow can look forward to seeing him in action in the upcoming 2021 LCS Amateur tournament, which begins on June 2. This tournament will be a great opportunity for Arrow to showcase his skills and potentially catch the attention of other teams.
