Impressive Debut: SKT’s New Roster Shines at KeSPA

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and SK Telecom T1 Impress in KeSPA Cup

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok looked comfortable with his new team, SK Telecom T1, during their qualifier series against APK Prince at the KeSPA Cup. Despite not reaching incredible heights, they played loose, comfortable, and put on an entertaining show. Their performance was solid and already surpassed the 2018 roster. Time will tell if they can maintain this level of play.

Khan and Teddy Shine for SKT

Although all eyes were on Faker, it was his new teammates who stole the show in both games. Despite being targeted by multi-man ganks, Faker’s relentless mid lane pressure allowed his side lanes to climb ahead quickly. Top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha and bot lane carry Park “Teddy” Jin-seong had exceptional performances with Khan accumulating a kill-death score of 8-2 and Teddy finishing with a flawless 11-0 score. This teamwork is a welcome change from SK Telecom T1’s previous performances.

SKT advances to the next series
