When will the global beta for League of Legends’ Clash start?

League of Legends fans will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a professional player this holiday season. In a recent update on the Dev Corner, Riot designer Jon “IAmWalrus” Moorman announced the global beta launch of the popular Clash tournament mode. After extensive testing in multiple regions to address any bugs or gameplay issues, Clash is now ready for a global release.

Despite its previous challenges, Clash has undergone significant improvements during its nearly year-long redevelopment period. The extensive testing has instilled optimism for a brighter future for Clash, both for Riot and players.

When does the global beta begin?

The Clash global beta, described by Riot as their “biggest yet,” will span over two weekends during the holiday season, specifically from December 7th to 8th and December 14th to 15th. This simultaneous launch in all regions will provide an opportunity for players worldwide to participate.

How do you earn tickets to compete?

The ticketing system will be reintroduced for Clash. Players will need to unlock Basic Tickets through completing missions, visiting the Clash website, or using Blue Essence in order to compete. This approach ensures that all teams take the commitment seriously and adds a high-stakes element to the games.

When will Clash officially launch?

The global beta for Clash will serve as the final testing period before its official launch in 2020. This beta phase will allow Riot to gather valuable feedback and identify areas that require improvement. After making the necessary adjustments and addressing any potential issues, Clash is expected to launch in a “few months” into the next year.
