The International 2019: Full Schedule of Events Released

Valve has officially released the full schedule of events for The International 2019, just days before the main event begins.

The schedule includes the finalized rosters for the All-Star game, as well as the full brackets for the playoffs. In addition, there is a detailed listing of the major events happening each day for the remainder of TI9.

Starting on August 19th, the opening ceremonies for the TI9 playoffs will take place. At 8pm CT, the teams competing in the playoffs will be introduced, followed by remarks from Gabe “Gaben” Newell, Valve’s co-founder.

Day two will feature more playoff action, as well as the finals of the TI9 Short Film Contest. The finalists will be showcased, and the winner of this year’s award will be announced live on a side stage.

Day three will be a big day for Dota players at home, as the winner of the Arcana Vote will be revealed. This will mark the end of months of voting to determine which hero will receive the TI9 Arcana item set.

Day four will feature an All Random Death Match between two teams of the best players in the world. Viewers at home who select their favorite players will have the opportunity to earn Battle Pass points based on their performance.

Lastly, the cosplay contest will hold its final judging and award the winner on the main stage between matches. This will showcase some of the most talented cosplayers in the Dota community.

All of these events will lead up to the final day of The International 2019, where the two best teams in the world will compete for the title of Dota 2 World Champions and the Aegis of Champions.

The events will be streamed on Twitch via the Dota2ti channels from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
