League of Legends developers strive to enhance ranked representation

Improvements Coming to Ranked Representation in League of Legends

Riot Games has announced some upcoming changes to the ranked representation in League of Legends. Jordan Checkman, a lead designer at Riot Games, shared details about these improvements on social media.

League players can look forward to additional ranked division displays in the Lobby, Profile, Loading Screen, and Hovercards. These changes aim to enhance the overall experience for players.

The dev team has also acknowledged the need for differentiation between Gold and Bronze rankings. They plan to address the issue of ranked borders not feeling prestigious enough at higher levels.

Checkman has reassured players that the team is actively working on resolving rendering quality issues on the loading screen.

Riot Games has been striving to make ranked representation in the game unique. In a recent update, the Challenges feature was introduced, allowing players to earn different titles by completing specific tasks.

The release date for these proposed changes is yet to be confirmed. However, with Patch 12.2 scheduled for Jan. 20, it’s possible that the changes will be implemented later this week.
