Zven and Mithy reunite with Origen, joining Hybrid and Forg1ven

G2 Esports Confirms New Bottom Lane

After the Mid Season Invitational, the European team G2 Esports has made changes to its bottom lane. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen and Alfonso “Mithy” Aguirre Rodriguez left Origen and the rumors were true as they both joined G2 Esports. The team made the announcement in a YouTube video.

G2 was the winner of the Spring Split with Kim “Emperor” Jin-hyun and Glenn “Hybrid” Doornenbal in the bottom lane. However, despite their strong performance, they were not considered the best duo in the region.

Zven and Mithy are widely regarded as one of the best botlane partnerships in the European LCS. This move marks the first time Zven will play with a team other than Origen. He joined Origen as a rookie in December 2014 and quickly established himself as a prodigy and possibly the best AD Carry in Europe.

Mithy, on the other hand, is a veteran of the scene. He played for Lemondogs back in Season Three but was banned by Riot for “toxic” behavior. After his ban was lifted, he joined Origen and helped lead them to the LCS. Over the past year, he has challenged for the title of best support player in Europe.

Meanwhile, Emperor has returned to South Korea to play for Longhzu, as shown in a photo wearing the team’s gear. Hybrid has announced his move to Origen.

Rounding out Origen’s lineup is former H2k-Gaming player Konstantinos “Forg1ven” Tzortziou. Forg1ven initially stated that he would skip the Summer Split entirely, but H2k announced on Twitter that he had moved to Origen.

Conclusion

G2 Esports has made significant changes to its bottom lane by adding Zven and Mithy. With their experience and skill, they are expected to contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
