She is currently practicing with Lulu to master her as well. She shared her achievement on Twitter, saying, “My small quarantine accomplishment: made it to Silver III .”

This news caught the attention of Reddit and Twitter, sparking hilarious reactions. When asked if playing League has prepared her for the hate on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez replied, “Right-wing Twitter is child’s play compared to inting 13-year-olds.”

Carlos “ocelote” Rodríguez Santiago, the founder and CEO of G2 Esports, also joined the conversation. He asked Ocasio-Cortez if she watched G2 at Worlds 2019. Dominique “SonicFox” McLean, a fighting game superstar, expressed interest in teaching her fighting games.

In addition to Ocasio-Cortez, Colorado governor Jared Polis has admitted to playing League of Legends in his downtime. He once compared winning in the game to passing a bill.

If Ocasio-Cortez continues to play ranked solo queue, her next milestone could be reaching Gold IV before the end of the League season to earn the newest Victorious skin.
