After securing 3 Infernal Drakes and a stolen Baron, CLG triumphantly close out against Clutch

CLG Defeats Clutch Gaming in Hard-Fought Match

CLG secured a victory over Clutch Gaming in a highly contested match that lasted 42 minutes. Despite a significant advantage in dragons, barons, and gold, CLG faced strong resistance from Clutch Gaming throughout the game.

One of the standout performers for CLG was Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes on Kai’Sa. Stixxay reached over 1,000 Ability Power without even utilizing AP stacks from Guinsoo’s Rageblade passive. His Void Seeker ability dealt massive damage to Clutch Gaming’s Nam “LirA” Tae-yoo, even taking a third of his health bar with each attack.

Even against Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten’s Swain, Stixxay’s power was enough to significantly damage him, showcasing his dominance in the game.

The victory for CLG puts them in a tie for second place with six other teams. Although they still have certain challenges to overcome, such as finding suitable picks for Darshan Upadhyaya and strengthening Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyun’s reliability, CLG is showing improvement. Their evolving style, increased confidence, and improved communication on the Rift have all contributed to their progress.

While they may not yet be on par with top-tier teams like Liquid and Echo Fox, the improvements made by CLG are promising for their dedicated fan base. After enduring a disappointing 2018 Spring Split, CLG’s resurgence is certainly a cause for optimism.
