Jojo demonstrates NA’s League dominance, outplaying LEC MVP

The 2022 League of Legends World Championship: NA Players Dominate Champions Queue

The highly-anticipated 2022 League of Legends World Championship is just three days away, and participating players are already gearing up in North America’s Champions Queue.

It’s clear that the home advantage is working in favor of NA players, as they have been dominating the Champions Queue leaderboard. Out of the top 10 ranks, seven are held by LCS players. While players from other regions are also climbing up the ranks, it hasn’t been as smooth for them. MAD Lions’ Nisqy learned this the hard way.

Yesterday, Riot analyst Caedrel streamed a League match on Twitch. The game showcased some impressive top-ranked players from the leaderboard, including Chad, Berik, Doublelift, Jojopyun, Tactical, Zven, Nisqy, and Lourlo.

The highlight of Caedrel’s attention was the mid lane matchup between Nisqy and Jojopyun. NA’s youngest player to win an LCS title completely decimated the 2022 LEC Summer Regular season MVP.

Jojopyun’s Akali not only dominated the laning phase but also proved to be a menace in skirmishes. One of the key highlights of the match was when Jojopyun outplayed both Rege’s Hecarim and Nisqy’s Azir by himself while his teammates took down the Baron.

After winning this fight, Jojopyun cheekily wrote “NA > EU” in the League chat, implying his region’s superiority over Europe.

Jojopyun’s team went on to win the match, with him as the star of the show, boasting an impressive 9/1/10 KDA.

Evil Geniuses will be relying on such top performances from its players if they want to secure one of the four spots to qualify from Play-Ins to the group stage.
