Natus Vincere (NAVI) is currently in discussions to add Acend player Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek to their VALORANT roster, according to multiple sources. Although the deal is still pending, both Acend and NAVI are confident that the move can be finalized soon.

Once the agreement is reached, NAVI will have completed their starting lineup for the VCT 2023 season. While the organization is set to acquire the Masters-winning team FunPlus Phoenix, one of their star players, Ardis “Ardiis” Svarenieks, has decided not to join his teammates in the move.

cNed, who is widely recognized as one of the best players in the world, emerged victorious at the VALORANT Champions tournament last year in December. Acend emerged as the tournament winners after an intense grand final against Gambit Esports.
However, FPX, another European team, witnessed a rise in prominence in recent months and secured a victory at VCT Masters Copenhagen in July. They defeated Paper Rex in a thrilling 3-2 grand final.
Nevertheless, both Acend and FPX were unable to secure a partnership with Riot Games for the EMEA international league, set to commence in February. NAVI, on the other hand, has successfully secured a partnership to represent the CIS region.
