Natus Vincere Adds “so bad” to Dota 2 Roster on Trial Basis
Today, Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) announced that they are adding Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich to their Dota 2 roster for a trial period. So bad will be replacing Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya, who was the team’s most recent addition.
According to Na’Vi’s COO, Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov, the previous roster had difficulties establishing effective communication with CemaTheSlayer due to the lack of face-to-face interaction. The rescheduling of The International provided a perfect opportunity for the organization to test new players and their synergy.
Grooming so bad as the Roster’s Next Captain
Xaoc also mentioned that they are looking to groom so bad as the roster’s next captain. So bad has already proven himself as a capable leader during his time with Vega Squadron, where he was involved in pre-game strategies and shotcalling.
So bad, a support player from Belarus, made a name for himself during the 2019 CIS TI qualifiers with Vega Squadron. Despite having low expectations and a team of mostly unknown players, Vega performed exceptionally well in the group stage with a 7-0 record, largely thanks to so bad’s consistent performances on Dark Willow.
Na’Vi’s Decision to Opt-Out of OGA Dota PIT Online
Na’Vi’s recent roster change might explain why they chose not to participate in the ongoing OGA Dota PIT Online tournament. Instead, their new roster will make its debut in the European leg of the ESL One Birmingham Online event starting on May 24.
