Riot Games’ Partnership with Esports Organizations for VALORANT Ignition Series

Riot Games has teamed up with over 20 esports organizations to host unique competitive VALORANT events as part of the new Ignition Series.

The first official Ignition Series tournament will be the G2 Esports VALORANT Invitational. This series aims to help the developers of VALORANT establish a strong esports community, as stated by Walen Rozelle, Riot’s senior director of esports.

Over the course of three days, eight prominent European teams will compete for a prize pool of approximately $16,780.

The teams will be divided into two groups of four and will participate in a best-of-three single round-robin group stage. Group A will play on day one, while Group B will compete on day two.
