Universe Becomes Fnatic’s New Offlaner, Replacing Ohaiyo in Dota 2 Team

Fnatic Reveals New Roster Addition: UNiVeRsE Joins the Team

After Fnatic’s successful qualification for the ESL One Katowice Major, rumors began circulating about the signing of Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora to the team. Social media was abuzz with reactions, ranging from surprise to sarcasm, and even disgust. However, Fnatic did not confirm anything until the following day. Now, it is official – the legendary offlaner from North America has joined the Malaysia-based team, replacing Ohaiyo.

UNiVeRsE’s addition to Fnatic comes just a month after his departure from Evil Geniuses, his previous team of over four years. This is not the first time he has played for a different brand, as he had a short-lived run with Team Secret two years ago.

Ohaiyo, on the other hand, will be looking for a new team as Fnatic cited a conflict of playstyles and understanding of the game as the primary reasons for his departure.

With the addition of UNiVeRsE, Fnatic now boasts three Valve event winners in their lineup. UNiVeRsE, alongside Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Johan “pieliedie” Åström, could potentially make Fnatic a force in the Southeast Asian scene.

UNiVeRsE has already competed with his new team at the PGL Bucharest Major SEA regional qualifier, but unfortunately, their first outing did not end well as they were defeated by TNC Pro Team.
