Three additional teams secure spots for ESL One Katowice 2019

Gambit Esports and TNC Predator Secure Spots in ESL One Katowice 2019

Last week, the direct invites for ESL One Katowice 2019 were announced. Now, after a series of intense regional qualifiers, two more teams have secured their spots in the tournament. Gambit Esports came out on top in Europe, while TNC Predator emerged victorious in Southeast Asia.

In Europe, Gambit Esports faced tough competition from Team Empire Faith in the First Round. Although they initially lost 2-1, Gambit fought their way through the losers bracket and eventually had a rematch with Team Empire Faith. The series went to three games, with Gambit prevailing to claim the European spot at Katowice.

The journey was no less challenging for TNC Predator in Southeast Asia. They were knocked down to the losers bracket by DeToNator in the opening round. However, TNC staged a comeback and defeated Team Admiral and DeToNator in subsequent matches. In the grand finals against Lotac, TNC secured their spot at Katowice after a series of close games.

Meanwhile, in North America, compLexity Gaming secured their spot after a hard-fought regional contest. They overcame an early loss and ultimately defeated J Storm in a thrilling grand finals series.

China Qualifier to Determine the Final Spot at Katowice

The final regional spot for ESL One Katowice 2019 will be decided in the China Qualifier. The teams competing for the spot are EHOME, Royal Never Give Up, Team Root, and For The Dream. The qualifier will take place on December 19th and 20th.
