List of English Broadcast Talent for The International 8 Revealed
The International 8 is just 15 days away and Valve, the publisher of Dota 2, has released the full list of English broadcast talent for the event.
A total of 31 personalities will be broadcasting TI8 to fans all over the world. This is a significant increase from last year’s lineup, which had 24 commentators.
Analysis Desk Hosted by Four New Faces
This year, the analysis desk will be hosted by four individuals. Returning to the stage is the veteran Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner, along with Alex “Machine” Richardson, Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, and William “Chobra” Cho.
Chobra, in particular, has been absent from the Dota 2 scene recently. His last desk appearance was in 2016 at ESL One Manila. However, he had been a part of the TI5 wildcard round in previous years.
TI7’s main desk host, Sean “Day[9]” Plott, will not be returning this year.
Fan Favorite Casters and Analysts Confirmed
The casters’ table will be manned by fan favorites such as Toby “Tobiwan” Dawson, Austin “Capitalist” Walsh, Owen “ODPixel” Davies, and more. The list of newcomers includes Brian “BananaSlamJamma” Canavan, Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg, Park “March” Tae-won, and Kyle Freedman.
Kaci Aitchison and SirActionSlacks Set for Player Interviews
Seattle-based news reporter Kaci Aitchison, who has been a part of The International since 2013, will team up once again with Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner for player interviews and additional content between games. Ted “PyrionFlax” Forsyth and Ken “Hot_bid” Chen may also join them.
