This victory not only grants OG the prestigious Aegis of Champions, but also secures them the largest prize pool in esports history, a whopping $11,200,288.
After a 10-month schedule of events organized by Valve as part of the Dota Pro Circuit season, The International 8 served as the grand finale. This tournament boasted a record-setting prize pool of $25,455,199, with a total of nearly $15 million awarded throughout the season’s 22 events.
Despite the fierce competition from the best teams in the world, OG emerged as the ultimate victors.
