ESL One Mumbai Regional Qualifiers Announced
The regional qualifiers for the biggest Dota 2 event in India, ESL One Mumbai, have been announced. The tournament will feature 12 teams, with seven directly invited and five determined through the qualifiers.
Regional Qualifiers and Invited Teams
Europe, North America, China, and Southeast Asia will be hosting their own regional qualifiers, along with India hosting its own. The qualifiers will ensure representation from each region.
Teams Invited from Europe, North America, China, and Southeast Asia
Alliance and Natus Vincere will represent Europe, Team Team and J Storm will join from North America, while Keen Gaming and Royal Never Give Up have been invited from China. From Southeast Asia, TNC Predator and Lotac will compete.
Indian Qualifiers
The Indian qualifiers have invited Signify and ROG TiTans to compete for a chance to represent their country on a big stage.
Qualification Process and Schedule
The qualifiers will be double elimination, with best-of-three matches until the finals, where it will switch to a best-of-five format. Two teams from each region will be decided through open qualifiers. The closed qualifiers will take place from Feb. 27 to Mar. 1, and the full roster for ESL One Mumbai will be announced. The tournament will be held from Apr. 19 to 21 with a prize pool of $300,000.
