YouTuber iShowSpeed Apologizes After Allegations of Promoting a Cryptocurrency Scam

Popular YouTuber and streamer, iShowSpeed, has issued an apology to his fans after being accused of promoting a cryptocurrency scam created by The Paradox Metaverse, a London-based company.

While streaming a soccer game with his friends in London, iShowSpeed received numerous comments from fans labeling him as a scammer. Taking note of the situation, iShowSpeed addressed the comments at the beginning of the stream and expressed his regret for promoting a cryptocurrency that has been accused of being involved in an alleged rug-pull scam.

Admitting his mistake, iShowSpeed stated, “I do so much for y’all, I made a mistake. I’m not that smart, I’m going to be honest. I wish I never did it, but I want to clarify that I’m not a scammer.”

The cryptocurrency that iShowSpeed promoted to his fans can be obtained through the purchase of Paradox Coins in The Paradox Metaverse video game. Players who acquire NFTs for the game can earn the cryptocurrency by completing missions.

Unfortunately, the promoted cryptocurrency has been associated with allegations of a rug-pull scam. This term is used to describe a situation where the coin’s value is artificially inflated before the owners shut down the project or disappear completely, taking investors’ money with them.

For those playing the game and earning the coin, the hope is that its value will increase over time, resulting in a profitable return. However, if the coin fails or decreases in value, investors will experience a loss.

YouTuber Coffeezilla, known for exposing scams and fraudsters, is planning to release a video criticizing The Paradox Metaverse today.
