WellPlay Invitational Returns With Seventh Edition
The highly anticipated WellPlay Invitational is back for its seventh edition, featuring some of the top teams from CIS and Europe who will be competing for the champion title.
In a departure from the qualifier format, the organizers have opted for a double-elimination bracket to determine the champion. The tournament will see five CIS teams, including Team Empire, Vega Squadron, FRIENDS, Team Spirit, and Effect, as well as three European teams – Cloud9, Horde, and ProDota Gaming – battling it out for their share of the $3,000 prize pool.
All eight participating teams have received a direct invite and will begin their quest for the championship on February 14.
The prize pool has been allocated to the top two teams, with the first-place finisher taking home $2,500 and the runner-up receiving $500.
The tournament will be broadcasted on Hitbox, with separate channels for English and Russian viewers.
