100 Thieves Reveals Coaching Staff for 2022 League of Legends Roster
The boys in red and black have added another talented mind to their lineup for next year’s heist.
100 Thieves has announced its coaching staff for the upcoming season, and they’ve brought on board a familiar face. Former pro player and Cloud9 head coach Mithy will be joining Reapered and Freeze behind-the-scenes to support the LCS team in their quest to become regional champions once again.
Mithy first came to North America in 2018 when he joined TSM as a player. After a year, he returned to Europe and played for Origen. However, he faced little success and decided to transition into coaching. In 2020, he became the head coach for Fnatic.
Although Mithy achieved back-to-back LEC Finals appearances with Fnatic, he chose to make the journey back across the Atlantic to join Cloud9 as a strategic coach in 2021. Following C9’s victory in the 2021 Spring Split, he was promoted to head coach and helped lead the team through an impressive run in the 2021 World Championship.
Now, Mithy will strengthen an already talented group of coaches on 100 Thieves. As the defending LCS champions, the team has also added a promising young rookie in the top lane to complement veteran star Ssumday.
Mithy’s experience as a former player will be invaluable in strategizing and maximizing the potential of 100 Thieves’ lineup during drafts.
The LCS will kick off next month, and fans can look forward to seeing 100 Thieves in action.
