DRX Roster Enters Free Agency After Winning 2022 LoL World Championship

The DRX roster, after their historic Cinderella run in the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, has entered free agency on November 22nd.

From Deft’s redemption arc to BeryL’s shot-calling, the team had many reasons to love this version of DRX.

Where Are the Members of the 2022 DRX Squad Going to Play in 2023

Deft, the oldest and most experienced player of the world champions, has already found a new home as he signed with DWG KIA on November 23rd.

Kingen and Zeka, the top laner and mid laner respectively, will be joining Hanwha Life Esports.

Pyosik, the jungler, will be moving to a new region as he agreed to become Team Liquid’s starting jungler for the 2023 LCS Spring Split.

BeryL, the support player, will be the only remaining member of the 2022 DRX roster, playing for DRX in the LCK.

New Destinations for Coaches and Coaching Staff

DRX’s coaching staff has also entered free agency, with only Shin ‘Shine’ Dong-wook returning to DRX as an assistant coach. Lee ‘Mowgli’ Jae-ha will be joining Hanwha Life Esports as an assistant coach.

The future destination of former head coach Kim “Ssong” Sang-su is still uncertain.
