Kayle to Receive Update in League of Legends
The developers of League of Legends are constantly working on updates for the game, but with 162 champions, it’s difficult to keep everyone satisfied. However, one of the champions, Kayle, will soon be receiving an update.
August “Riot August” Browning, the lead champion designer at Riot, recently revealed on Reddit that his team is currently working on updating Kayle and will be sharing more information soon. This news was met with excitement from Kayle players who have felt that the champion has fallen out of the meta in recent months.
Kayle’s poor state is reflected in her low win rate in solo queue. According to League stats site U.GG, she currently has a 48.94 percent win rate in the top lane only in Platinum+ rankings. Her pick rate is also low at 1.7 percent with a ban rate of 0.4 percent. In professional games, Kayle is rarely seen as most top laners prefer bruisers and tanks.
It’s unclear what specific changes Riot will make to Kayle’s kit, but given her current lack of presence in solo queue and professional play, she could receive significant buffs.
