SK Telecom T1 Players Decide on Championship Skins After Winning League of Legends World Championship
All but two players from SK Telecom T1 have chosen which champion skins they want after their victory in the League of Legends World Championship last year.
The team that wins Worlds is given one skin for each player on the roster. SKT’s players recently confirmed their choices for the 2016 skins in interviews with the team’s staff, as reported by Nam Yoon Sung of Daily eSports, a Korean esports news site.
SKT’s Choices for Champion Skins

Past SKT Worlds Skins
This isn’t the first time SKT has received Worlds skins. They were also awarded skins for their victories in 2013 and 2015. In 2013, the skins were for Jax, Lee Sin, Zed, Zyra, and Vayne. In 2015, the chosen champions were Alistar, Kalista, Ryze, Elise, Azir, and Renekton (Note: The Sivir in the photo was replaced with SKT Kalista before release).
Waiting for the Release
It may take a while before we see the new SKT skins in action. In the past, Worlds skins were released towards the end of the next season. For example, the 2015 Worlds skins were not released until August of 2016.
