VCS Players Suspended from Vietnamese League Due to Unusual Match Data
A total of 32 VCS players from eight League of Legends teams have been suspended from the Vietnamese league. The suspension came after officials discovered unusual data in matches that were played and broadcasted. This decision affects their participation in Riot Games esports and third-party tournaments during the league’s standstill.
Details of the Suspension
VCS officials have announced a list of the suspended players, who will not be able to engage in Riot Games esports and related tournaments. The officials have also made it known that team members are allowed to provide information or respond to this decision.
Postponement of the VCS Spring Split
The investigation into the teams began on March 18 when Riot Games and VCS officials conducted an internal inquiry. Following the investigation, the VCS Spring Split for 2024 was postponed until further notice.
