Mr. Cat Invitational: A New Quick Online Tournament for Southeast Asian DotA 2 Pros
A new online tournament called Mr. Cat Invitational (MCI) is set to take place in the Southeast Asian DotA 2 professional scene. With a prize pool of $10,000, the tournament will run from July 11-29.
The tournament will feature 10 invited teams who will compete in a best-of-two round robin group stage. The top eight teams from the group stage will then move on to an eight-team double elimination bracket. Each playoff series will be a best-of-three, with the grand finals being a best-of-five.

Prize Pool Breakdown
The $10,000 prize pool will be distributed as follows:
- 1st place: $5,000
- 2nd place: $3,000
- 3rd place: $1,500
- 4th place: $500
