Palworld’s Raid Update is Now Available on Xbox, But One Massive Change is Missing

The Persistence of a Bug in Palworld’s Raid Update

Pocketpair has recently deployed Palworld’s highly anticipated Raid update for Xbox players and those accessing the game through Xbox Game Pass. However, despite a fix being provided for Steam players last week, an annoying bug from the initial patch still remains.

An Egg Placement Bug

The Raid update is now live on Xbox, although Palworld players who loaded up save data from v0.1.5.x or earlier may encounter an issue with placing eggs inside the Egg Incubator. This bug, unfortunately, has not been resolved yet. The developers at Pocketpair have assured fans that they are working diligently to deploy a fix in the coming days. In the meantime, players can use a workaround by disassembling and rebuilding the old Incubator.

A Persistent Problem

This particular bug is not exclusive to the Xbox version of Palworld. When the update was launched for the Steam platform on April 4, the same bug surfaced there as well. Players were advised to use the “disassemble and rebuild” workaround while Pocketpair addressed the issue. Fortunately, the bug was promptly fixed on April 5, relieving players of one less concern amidst the onslaught of visual glitches that emerged after the update.

Waiting for a Fix

With regards to the Xbox version of Palworld, Pocketpair has a reputation for being slower with updates, making the timeline for the Incubator fix uncertain. The developers’ vague promise of a fix in the “next few days” offers little definitive information to eager players.

Nevertheless, there is always the official workaround available to overcome this roadblock. The Raid update for Palworld introduces an abundance of fresh content, including the formidable Bellanoir and a range of new items. Don’t allow a small, annoying bug to impede your progress in hatching the Huge Dark Egg that you earned by grinding the Bellanoir Raid today.
