Marvel X-Men Skins Return to the Fortnite Store
Following the success of the X-Men ’97 series on Disney+, Epic Games has reintroduced several popular Marvel character skins to the Fortnite store. Players can now purchase the Gambit, Rogue, Dark Phoenix, and Psylocke skins in Fortnite.
A Collaboration Between Marvel and Epic
Marvel and Epic Games have previously collaborated on various occasions, and this is not the first time that Fortnite skins from the X-Men universe are available. These skins were initially introduced in February 2022 during Chapter Three, season one. Players can now buy the Rogue and Gambit skins individually for 1,500 V-Bucks each or as a bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks. The bundle also includes the LEGO versions of both mutants.
Psylocke, another X-Men skin, was previously introduced in Chapter Two, season two, as part of the Marvel Series bundle, alongside Cable and Domino. This skin is available for 1,500 V-Bucks and includes the LEGO version of the character.
The Dark Phoenix skin, also known as Jean Grey, made its debut in Chapter Two, season eight. Players can purchase this bundle for 1,500 V-Bucks, which includes the LEGO version of the skin. A recent leak hinted at the possible addition of Cyclops as another mutant skin in Fortnite, but Epic Games has not confirmed this rumor yet.
Although Storm and Wolverine are other X-Men skins in Fortnite, they were exclusively available through previous battle passes. Unfortunately, players can no longer obtain these cosmetics. Storm was featured in the Marvel-themed season of Chapter Two, season four, known as Nexus War. During the same season, players had the opportunity to acquire the Wolverine skin through completing multiple quests in a limited-time event.
Another notable skin from the X-Men universe is the Wolverine Zero skin, a collaboration between Marvel and Fortnite. This skin belongs to the Zero War set and showcases numerous superheroes. The store has reintroduced this skin multiple times since its initial debut in Chapter Three, season three.
It remains uncertain how long these current X-Men skins will be available in the Fortnite shop, so fans who wish to add them to their collection should act promptly.
