New Dota 2 Patch Coming Soon Before The International 10

Valve has announced a new battle level bundle for the Nemestice 2021 battle pass. Along with this, they have confirmed that a new patch, 7.30, will be released soon.

“In other news, Gameplay Patch 7.30 will be arriving after the Battle Pass ends,” stated Valve in their announcement.

The end date for Nemestice is yet to be specified, but with just one set of weekly quests remaining, it is estimated to end on Aug. 17. The start of The International 10 is scheduled for Oct. 7, giving teams about one and a half months to prepare. The tournament has a prize pool of over $40 million, the largest in esports history.

Significant Changes Expected in Patch 7.30

The increase in patch number, from 7.29 to 7.30, indicates that it will be a substantial update. Usually, these big patches are released after The International, but due to the delays of TI10, the patch schedule has been adjusted. Hero Dawnbreaker, introduced in April, is likely to receive an Aghanim’s Scepter and Shard upgrade, and may also become eligible for Captain’s Mode, allowing her to be picked in TI matches.

Cheaper Option to Obtain Exclusive Content

Despite criticism of the Nemestice 2021 battle pass for its limited content and difficult leveling system, Valve is offering a more affordable way for fans to acquire the exclusive Davion Persona and Spectre Arcana. The 60-level bundle, available until Aug. 9, includes six Nemestice Immortal Treasures and three Nemestice Themed Treasures. It can be purchased twice.
