Key Roster Changes Ahead of ESL One Hamburg
Just before ESL One Hamburg kicks off, several teams have announced important roster changes that could have a significant impact on their matches.
These changes were prompted by unforeseen delays in the visas of Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and his brother Yawar “YawaR” Hassan, who were preparing to travel to Hamburg, Germany for the event.
Evil Geniuses Without SumaiL
Evil Geniuses will be competing without their mid laner SumaiL at the upcoming event. SumaiL, who has been with EG since 2015, has played a crucial role in the team’s success over the years.
Replacing him will be Quinn “CCnC” Callahan from paiN X. CCnC, who has previous experience playing for OpTic Gaming, will fill in for SumaiL in the mid lane.
Stand-in for Forward Gaming
Forward Gaming will also be using a stand-in for their debut at the LAN event. Yawar, who lives in the United States, faced visa delays and won’t be able to attend ESL One Hamburg.
Steve “xcalibur” Ye, who recently joined DeToNator in September, will be standing in for Yawar in Hamburg.
Both of these roster changes are a major setback for the teams, who had high hopes of winning the event.
