Reunited: MVP Phoenix’s Roster for The International 6

The most successful Korean team in Dota 2 history has reunited after playing for different organizations. The MVP Phoenix lineup from 2016, known for their aggressive style of play, is making a comeback. This play style, affectionately called “caveman Dota,” involved all five players constantly charging at their opponents without hesitation.

Leading the charge is Kim “QO” Seon-yeop, who was last seen playing for Fnatic’s TI7 squad. QO’s fearless dives into enemy territory with heroes like Phantom Assassin and Bloodseeker strike fear into even the best teams. Joining him is Pyo “MP” No-a, who played with Team Secret at TI7. MP’s mid lane play, especially on heroes like Invoker, Storm Spirit, and Outworld Devourer, was highly respected in 2016.

Completing the lineup are Lee “Forev” Sang-don, who played with Digital Chaos, and the support duo of Kim “Febby” Dong-min and Kim “DuBu” Doo-young. Forev’s prowess on Bristleback, now a high-tier pick, will require teams to respect ban it against MVP. Febby and DuBu bring their experience from playing alongside QO and Forev in previous teams.

All five members have one thing in common: their squads at TI7 did not perform well. They are reuniting in hopes of recapturing their former glory. With teams like Fire Dragoon and the new look Mineski in the Southeast Asia region, the competition is expected to be intense.
