PSG.LGD Signs New Players for Dota 2 Roster

PSG.LGD has added three new players to its Dota 2 roster, as some veteran players have decided to step away from the game. The team is preparing for the upcoming 2023 Dota Pro Circuit with a revamped lineup.

The star midlaner NothingToSay and hard support y’ have chosen to stick with LGD, along with head coach xiao8. They will now be joined by the three new additions, as they aim to continue their past success and shape the team’s future.

LGD has acquired talent from EHOME, bringing in carry player Guo “shiro” Xuanang and support player Lin “planet” Hao. Additionally, offlaner Li “项羽” Longwu from CDEC Gaming has joined LGD’s main roster. These players are relatively unknown talents, with Li joining the team just a few months ago.

The changes in the roster were prompted by Faith_bian’s decision to retire from competitive Dota at the end of LGD’s TI11 run. Ame has also stepped back from the active roster and will be part of the organization’s inactive roster for an indefinite period.

Despite other top teams in China undergoing significant rebuilds, LGD has a chance to establish itself as a top contender in the region. However, the gap between LGD’s potential and the stacked rosters of Xtreme Gaming and Vici Gaming has narrowed.

LGD will have a month to bootcamp before the 2023 DPC kicks off in January. While there are uncertainties surrounding other teams like EHOME and Royal Never Give Up, LGD has the opportunity to make a strong start in the competition.
