PGL Enters the Dota 2 Competitive Scene with Million Dollar Prize Pool Events
The Dota 2 competitive scene is heating up as organizers compete to host events following Valve’s withdrawal in 2024. While ESL took charge initially, PGL has now announced its entry with a series of eight events, each boasting a $1 million prize pool.
PGL’s First Event to Take Place in Bucharest, Romania
PGL is all set to host its first event, named Wallachia, on May 10. The tournament organizer has committed to the Dota 2 scene until 2026 and aims to bring together teams on its home ground in Bucharest, Romania.
