The StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor qualifiers are in full swing, and the first two teams have already secured their spots in the upcoming event. Gambit Esports emerged as the dominant force in the CIS region, only losing one game to Team Empire. Meanwhile, Old But Gold, a team comprised of seasoned Russian Dota 2 veterans, claimed the second CIS roster spot.
Gambit Esports’ Dominance
Gambit Esports showed their prowess in the qualifiers, defeating all opponents except for Team Empire. This strong performance earned them the top seed in the tournament.
Old But Gold’s Rise
Old But Gold was formed specifically to compete in DreamLeague Season 11. The team, consisting of experienced players from the Russian scene, defeated Aachen City Esports and avenged their earlier loss to Team Empire. This secured them the second CIS roster spot.
Upcoming Qualifiers and Event Details
The remaining qualifiers for the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor will take place from February 7 to 12. Once all the qualifiers are completed, the final eight-team roster for the event will be decided.
The tournament will feature a prize pool of $300,000 and 500 Pro Circuit Points. The first-place team will also receive the last invite to the DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major.
