Team Secret Loses Another Player
In less than a month, one of Dota 2’s most well-known teams has fallen from its legendary status.
Things continue to worsen for Team Secret as offlaner Lee “Forev” Sang-don leaves the team after less than three months.
KheZu Joins as a Replacement
As a result of Forev’s departure, Team Secret has added Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann, formerly of Escape Gaming, to their roster. KheZu, though not as successful as his predecessor, is considered one of the top talents in European Dota 2. KheZu will make his debut for Team Secret against BNB on Nov. 10 at the ROG Masters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Missing the Boston Major
Forev’s exit came nine days after Team Secret’s elimination in the qualifiers for the upcoming $3.1 million Boston Major, where they were knocked out by Virtus.pro. This marks the first Valve event that Team Secret will miss since its establishment in 2014.
Continuing Problems for Team Secret
This announcement follows former carry player Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao’s recent exposé on Team Secret’s alleged mishandling of payments, players, and employees.
