Valve has finally confirmed the release date for the major post-International 2018 patch. After months of speculation and hints, the patch will be released on November 19, one day after the conclusion of the Kuala Lumpur Major.
The Kuala Lumpur Major is the first event of the 2018-19 Dota Pro Circuit season, taking place from November 9 to 18. Sixteen teams will be competing for a $1 million prize pool and 15,000 DPC Points. Winning Majors gives teams a good chance of receiving invites to the Invitational 2019.
The release date of the patch allows teams to have ample time to practice and adapt to the new changes before the Bucharest Minor on January 9. The meta is expected to undergo significant changes, leading to experimentation and strategic adjustments during matches.
