Aphelios’ Ultimate Crit Bonus Receives Significant Nerf in League Patch 10.13 Preview; Yuumi’s E Mana Cost Adjusted

League of Legends Patch 10.13 Preview: Aphelios Nerfs and Other Changes

League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, has revealed the upcoming changes in Patch 10.13. Unfortunately for Aphelios players, the changes are not in their favor.

Aphelios, despite having a 48.8-percent win rate in Platinum ranks and above, has become a prominent pick in professional play. As a result, Riot Games has decided to address his power in multiple ways.

One significant change is the reduction of Aphelios’ crit bonus from 50 percent to 20 percent. His ultimate ability, Moonlight Vigil, will no longer deal as much area-of-effect damage, limiting his potential to single-handedly wipe out an entire team.

In addition, Aphelios’ AD per level will be decreased. Furthermore, his weapon, Crescendum, will no longer have its duration refreshed by attacking epic monsters like Baron and dragons.

Yuumi, the Magical Cat champion, will also receive adjustments to her mana costs.

Specifically, her E ability’s mana cost will change from 100 to 160 to 40 to 60 plus 15 percent of Yuumi’s maximum mana. While the base mana cost will be significantly reduced, the percentage mana cost will limit her healing capabilities during the laning phase.

Other champions receiving changes in Patch 10.13 include Syndra, Ornn, Cassiopeia, and Kalista, who are getting nerfs. On the other hand, Nocturne, Yorick, Ryze, Gnar, Vi, Lucian, and Rakan will be receiving some buffs.

As always, it’s important to note that these changes are tentative and may undergo further adjustments before they are implemented in the live servers.

Stay tuned for more updates on Patch 10.13!
