Upcoming Nerfs and Buffs in League of Legends Patch 10.13 Preview
Two dominant champions in the bot lane, Aphelios and Yuumi, are going to face some changes in the upcoming League of Legends Patch 10.13. Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, the lead gameplay designer, shared the full list of nerfs and buffs for the next update.
Aphelios: Nerfs Incoming
During a recent match between Schalke 04 and Rogue, Aphelios showcased his immense power. Schalke’s AD carry, Innaxe, managed to take out two opponents all by himself, leaving the encounter unscathed. However, this is just one example of Aphelios’ overpowered performance. Given his strength, Riot is considering targeting his lifesteal, which is further enhanced by the item Death’s Dance, another item that will be nerfed for ranged champions in the next patch.
Yuumi: Another Round of Nerfs
Yuumi, the Magical Cat, received buffs in Patch 10.3, including an increased heal ability AP ratio and percent health damage for her empowered Prowling Projectile. Riot is likely to tone down her damage and heal ratios, especially considering her prevalence in professional play.
Other Potential Changes
Aside from Aphelios and Yuumi, other champions that could see adjustments include Syndra, Ornn, Cassiopeia, and Kalista. On the other hand, Nocturne, Yorick, Ryze, Gnar, Vi, Lucian, Rakan, Kog’Maw (AP offbuild), and Nunu (AP offbuild) will receive buffs.
Please note that the Patch 10.13 preview is subject to change before its release on the live servers.
